Review:Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection concealer

You may have seen many people go on about how amazing this concealer is. To be honest I have to agree with everyone who says this concealer is amazing as It is just that.... amazing!

I have used this concealer over a year now and there has not been many concealers I'd say that I totally love and would keep re-purchasing, but this one has a hold over me!

It is so good for hiding blemishes, bags under the eyes and any other imperfections you are trying to hide. It really does do wonders of hiding it all. I just cant get enough of using it, whenever I got to boots I will always buy about three or more of them as I like to stock up as I'm just using it all the time.

Also the price just draws you in it's so cheap compared to some concealers and to be honest I find it's my go to concealer over even the more expensive ranges of concealers! For just £3.99 you can have an imperfection free face with this little beauty in your make-up bag, bargain?

Anyone love this concealer as much as me? What concealer's are you loving?

Review: Revlon Photo Ready Pinched Cream Blusher

I've wanted to try the new Revlon blushers for sometime, but haven't been able to go shopping. So I finally got to go shopping and I just had to buy one! The one thing that bugged me was that they only have a selection of three. Maybe they are planning on bringing out more of a range (fingers crossed).

I got the blusher in the shade 'pinched'; its like a subtle bronzey/peachy sort of tone. I found the blush to be extremely creamy and nourishing which is good as some blushers/bronzer's can and do make your cheeks look dry. So I was quite pleased with how nourishing it felt and looked on my skin to be honest.

The colour is pigmented, but build-able. It's not like an instant pop of colour to the cheeks which I find doesn't really appeal to me. This is because I prefer to be able to build up colour rather than have a ridiculous look of too much blusher on my face which can make you look a bit like a clown and I'm sure no one wants to look that way?

Overall, I would buy another blusher from the Revlon Photo Ready Range, but as I said before I'd like for them to have a bigger range!

Anyone tried the other two shades, what do you think of them?

Review: L'Oreal Extra-Intense Liquid Pencil Eyeliner

I've always wanted to find the perfect eye-liner that is like a Kohl, where its easy to apply. The only thing with Kohl eye-liner's are I find they are quite dry and just feel horrible to put on.

So I have found the perfect eye-liner that is easy to put on like a pencil, but has the most creaminess texture! I like that this brown eye-liner from L'Oreal isn't overly dramatic! As I find that for some reason black eye-liners just look ridiculous on me and make me look like a panda. So it gives you a more natural sort of subtle look! Which I think looks far better than the cakey and heavy black liners out there, it even lasts for ages.

One thing I really loved about this eye-liner is that you don't have to really rub it on your eye for the product to build up. With just one sweep of it, your eye has the perfect amount of liner on it!

On a last note, before I forget. This eye-liner has a smudge-er tip on the end! What more could you want from an eye-liner? I think I have found the perfect eye-liner for me, I will definitely be buying loads more of these liners!
[lashes left bare so you can see the eye-liner effect]

Can you see how nice the eyeliner glides on? Have you tried this liner?
 What were your thoughts?

Review: Lush lip scrub

From Left to Right; Bubblegum scrub and Citrus Pow Wow

I've had these two lips scrubs from Lush since Christmas now. I got them in my stocking and I can say that I use these all the time! (As you can see there's hardly a dent in them!)

In the winter months, these little beauties work such wonders! As soon as the product is applied to your lips, they make them instantly moisturised and smooth again by the use of ex foliating them with these little crystals.

Not only does it do that, they feel like popping candy on your lips which also gives a great taste to them, such as the bubblegum one which is absolutely delish!

Anyone else tried these out? what do you think?

Review: Mavala Double Lash Growth Serum

As you may remember back in June when I went to Florida I had a massive makeup haul post. Including in that was the Mavala Double Lash Serum.
[Lashes are bare with no mascara on, look at the length!!]

Its been a good few months I have used this serum for now and to be completely honest, I LOVE IT! I use it all the time before I go to bed, I have noticed such an incredible length and healthy look to my lashes. I will be re-purchasing this again when it runs out, but for the moment I still have like loads left. Its like an endless bottle of product which for £10 is a bargain!

The Mavala Double Lash Serum does everything you want in a lash growth product. Its much cheaper than those extremely pricey brands such as, Revita-Lash which is like £30. So if your looking for a cheaper alternative, I would definitely buy this one!

Lastly, its so easy to the lashes as it's exactly like a mascara brush where you just coat your lashes with it and not long after it is dry and you can just go straight to sleep.

Anyone else tried this before, your thoughts?

My Favourite Lippys

So this is a different type of post I'm doing today about my favourite lipsticks as you  may have guessed from the title.

     These are my favourite....
From Left to Right; Rimmel's moisture renew spotlight beige, Rimmel's Airy Fairy and Topshop's Desert

I've always been a big fan of the nude shade lipsticks. So these three are my go to that I always buy more of them whenever I run out and are always being used constantly. I just love nude shades!

What are your favourites? Any recommendations?

Review: V05 Weather Resistant Hairspray

I've had this for a little while now. I've heard many good things about this product, so i decided to try it for myself to see just how amazing this product is meant to be.
After applying the hairspray to my curly styled hair (using tongs) I found it did hold my curls for a longer length of time. Of course if it rains your hair will not stay curly. Because unfortunately the weather is against us, boo! So we can't stop it from ruining our just styled hair. However, I notice my hair doesn't look as much of a state as it normally does by the weather, it does keep in the curls, but they end up just wavy rather than curls. So I think I will definitely be re-purchasing this product as it's the best spray I have found that holds your hair style, it may change it a little due to the bad weather conditions, but it still looks dashing yaaay!

I would recommend this product though as in humid weather like we have had in England for a little while it does hold the curls in for an incredie length of time! They look exactly how they did when I first style it, no waviness or anything!

Also look how cute this travel size one is! I love the fact that on the go I can just chuck it in my bag if I needed a little touch up of the hair!

                                            Anyone else loving this hairspray?
Any hair-sprays you've found that are better?

Review: Rimmel Sun Shimmer water resistant instant fake tan

Lately I have been trying out and broadening my makeup/beauty products!

I decided at the beginning of August that I would try different brands and products etc. so I decided to try a new fake tan. You may have read my previous blog post from before where I raved about the garnier gradual tanner, as much as I loved it the thing that bugged me was that it would leave you feeling incredible sticky for a while & the morning after the fake tan smell would appear (hate that smell).

So I decided to try the new Rimmel sun shimmer water resistant tanner. I got my shade in light as I found the deeper one was far too dark for my complexion and would have made me look ridiculous. So I tried it out I have to say the drying time is sooo quick!! It's actually harder to keep up with rubbing it all in, in time!
It says that it's water resistant, not waterproof! So I tested it. Unlike the normal Rimmel sun shimmer it did run a little, but after dabbing it a bit with tissue I found there we're no streaks!! Wahey no more worrying over streaks.

The smell, let me tell you it smells so refreshing unlike any other tanner I have used it really did draw me in to try it. So If your looking for a none fake tan smelling tan then I think this is the one for you!

Review: Macadamia Deep Repair Hair Masque

Looking for a deep repairing masque, well then I have just the thing!

Id heard amazing reviews about the Macadamia Deep Repair Masque. I know its a little on the steep side, but tbh after using this product for a good while now it seems asthough it's barely made a mark in the product! Which I was surprised by. So really it may cost a little too much, but it goes a long way!

This stuff really has made a remarkable difference to my hair, it looks softer, feels incrediblely soft, the ends of my hair don't look at all scraggily or anything! It pretty much does exactly what it says on the pot!

Overall, my hair looks extremely healthy and although you have just stepped out a salon, definitely worth a buy!

Review: Taaj Micellaire water makeup remover

I had heard quite a few people rant about this product and how effective its properties were so I thought I'd give it a shot.

I found that by using two or three (depending how much make up you wear that day) that they were the right amount to take off your make-up. Just by a swipe of the cotton pad it comes off. So that means there is no need to really rub your face till its all red. woohoo for this beauty!

The product has a very re-freshing scent to it, that as soon as it's applied to the skin it feels smooth and as though your pores have been opened and now able to breath. It really does leave an amazing feeling to your skin, its hard to describe how it feels, but its like your skin feels that its had sooo many moisturising treatments in just this little bottle. It really does do wonders for your skin!

The price for this stuff is a bit of the more dearer side for just a make up remover, but I tell you It really does remove every inch of your make up, leaving it feeling so re-freshed as I said. I cannot tell you how good it is any more, other than for you to try it yourselves!

I will definitely be re-purchasing this product when It's finished!

What do you think of all the new great beauty products from France lately? Are you a Taaj miccellaire water lover too?

Review: Revlon Pedi Expert

So most of you I'm sure have heard of the ped egg that has been out for some time now. Well Revlon decided to bring out its own ped egg style foot scrubber.

After the much new products from Revlon lately I was all set for trying it.

I have to admit I'm not really one for looking after my feet as much as I would with say the rest of my body, so I thought with it being summer and flip flops on the ready, I want my feet to be in good condition of course (not that they are in a bad state).

I have to admit, I was a bit worried with how good it was actually going to work with removing dead skin and making your feet look and feel much smoother. Tbh it really did work wonders on my feet, they felt incredible smooth without the use of any moisturising products! Bonus!

The main thing that sold me about this was the fact that unlike the ped egg where you have to buy replacement blades, with Revlon's Pedi Expert there's no need to replace it. How true that is I don't know as I have only used this for a month, so we shall see!

So overall, I'm very pleased with Revlon at the moment as they seem to be creating such great products!!

Anyone else loving Revlon at the mo? What are your thoughts?

Review: Organix Moroccan Argan Oil

I've always wanted to try an Argan Oil in my hair. I've heard so many people mention the benefits of this stuff. So I thought why not give it a whirl and see If it actually does have an amazing turn out or not. I tried out the 'Organix Moroccan Argan Oil Serum' which is available at boots for £6.99. I know right, thats well cheap compared to a lot of other brands!

Oh my! This stuff truly is great, the ends of my hair look and feel OUTSTANDINGLY HEALTHY! The softness, the shine and the no frizz properties really do work tremendously on my hair! It makes your hair look as though you've just stepped out of a salon and now we all love that salon feel.

I would highly recommend this to anyone who has drier hair, split ends and badly damaged hair as the properties in this product will really help a great deal!

Review: Samy Fat Hair Shampoo & Conditioner

I know most of you have probably seen many blog posts about the Samy Fat Hair range, but I thought well it doesn't really matter if I also do one. I've been looking for a shampoo and conditioner that will make my hair look thicker, so I thought I'd have a go with the Samy Fat Hair range after numerous reviews saying how amazing it is!

In my opinion, these products have totally won me over. After just one use I notice an impressive difference as shown below...

As you can see from the before and after pictures, my hair looks a lot fuller and healthier! These pictures pretty much sum up how amazing this product is. I mean just look how much healthier and fuller my hair looks after ONE USE! I'll definitely continue to use these products until I run out and I'm probably more than likely to buy them again!

What did you think of the Samy Fat hair range? Any recommendations of hair thickening products?

Review: L'Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes Waterproof Mascara

With it now being summer I needed to find a good old trusty waterproof mascara I could rely on. I'm always on the look out for new mascara's clearly as my lashes never want to stay in place and lose their shape after an hour! I know annoying right? For a while now I have seen so many adverts everywhere about the new L'Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes. I had heard such good things about it, so I thought I would give this one a try.

The first time I used it I didnt know what to expect. I was quite pleasantly surprised with how it looked by one coat my eyelashes were instantly making me have that wide awake look. My lashes arent long, but arent short either (but are getting longer from the frequent use of my maval lash serum, will do a review soon!), but this mascara made them look extremely long and curl so nicely. This is a mascara I'm deffinately going to be using for a good long while, I've even stocked up on a few- thats how amazing this mascara is!

So if you are looking for a mascara which is waterproof and gives you that false lash look then this is the one for you! Just try it and you will see.

Review: Sigma's cleansing and polishing tool

Clarisonic dupe by sigma

I have been using my sigma cleansing and polishing tool since about four months ago now. I have noticed an amazing difference with my skin. Not that my skin was particularly acne prone anyway, but I rarely get any spots anymore, you will get the odd few ones every now and again, but that cannot be helped as it's a part of life. However, if I do breakout the next time I use my cleansing a polishing tool it goes! Some people say when using the Clarisonic at first for a while they tend to breakoutafter they first use it they tend to breakout, however, using my Sigma Cleansing and Polishing tool I never had this problem!

My skin is combination. So in some areas my face will be dry and in my t-zone area my face is more oily. Not long after using this along with my cleanser (Liz Early's cleanse and polish- highly recommend!) my faces feel a lot more refreshed and not dry at all to be honest. I have noticed that it has made my face feels so much more smoother. You couldn't ask for more with a remarkable product like this!

So overall, I would recommend this product to anyone who's looking for a dupe of the much loved, but expensive Clarisonic!

Review: Garnier gradual tan

Over a month has gone by now and I've been constantly using my new gradual tanner (that you would know about if you read my first blog post :)). Overall, I would deffinately recommend it, if you are looking for a tanner that doesn't make you look 'Orange' but gives you a nice noticeable tan then this is the one for you! Whilst giving you all the colour you want it makes your skin feel amazingly smooth which is a bonus! Yaay! Most tanners have such a foul smell to them, however, this one promises to have a 'apricot smell' which I have to agree with as it really is a tan that doesnt make you smell horrible. So its up to you, but I feel it is one worth a try :)

P.S. Sorry for the bad photos, for some reason my camera wouldn't properly show just how truly tanned you will look
