Enrapture Hot Rollers

I recently purchased the enrapture hot rollers. I'd never tried hot rollers myself so I was just trying to test them out, they was quite easy to put it your hair & hold. With a bit of practice I could put them in quicker.

On the top part of my head I put about 8 of the bigger rollers. Then on the lower second section of my head I used about 6 of the smaller rollers. Then left them for an hour.

They are so easy to take out, jut take off the clip and they unravel, easy right? I liked how with these rollers you had a constant heat through them that was even, so gives you a even heat through each roller.

The results, well it definitely gave me such high volume on the top half of my hair!! The bottom section was a bit curler, but more wavy to be fair. Which I would have preferred a more curly look. However I think because I wasn't used to putting them in quick it resulted in the roller getting a bit too cool so wouldn't curl as much.

So has anyone else tried this item? Any techniques you could give?

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder

[shade Translucent]

I switched setting powders recently. I wanted to find something that just have me more of a flawless look as the one I was using I don't know it just didn't feel to give me what I wanted and I felt like it got a bit cakey looking. So I looked at a variety of different setting powders.

I came across the Rimmel stay matte translucent powder. This powder, oh wow it makes my makeup look so flawless to the finish! I just love how it turns out on top of my L'oreal true match foundation. These two together give me the ultimate finish! I just love how I don't get that caked in makeup look which some powders tend to do.

I've even noticed that it does seem to hold my makeup in place. I have combination skin where in my tee zones the chin area it always seems to come off, but with this powder it hasn't come off at all!! Amazing right?

This is my new go to setting powder! what are your favourites?

L'Oreal True Match Foundation

[shade W1 Warm Ivory]
L'Oreal true match foundation. Well what can I say, this foundation I have only recently discovered. But it is now my favourite foundation!!!

I just love that they have so many varieties of shades! Personally, I am quite fair. So I always struggle to find a foundation that matches my skin. Until I met this beauty, many foundations I tried always looked just that little too dark on my face.

Another reason I am loving a lot of L'oreal products lately is that on L'Oreal's website they have a questionnaire to find the right shade for your skin. The questionnaire actually really works you just answer a range of questions about your skin and from your answers it tells you exactly the shade you are. It even gives you from the true match collection a blusher that would suit your skin as well. I think this is an amazing piece of technology that really helps anyone needed to find the right shade! This is how I found mine and it is the right shade for once from any foundation I've tried!

One con I found would have to be that the Consistency of this product for me is many a bit too runny? Like I feel it will just try to come off my brush and drop off (This hasn't happened however). I just feel the product should be that little bit more thicker!

This along with my sigma F60 brush work wonders giving you that completely blended flawless look!

Balm Lip Balm and more

Wow what can I say about this product from balm. Firstly, it does exactly what is says on the box! The smoothness of this product ah from having slightly dry lips due to the harsh weather conditions this little beauty can fix that in an instant!

It's not only for lips. This product is simply amazing if you have any dry areas from your face, to your hands and feet this little treasure can sort it out for you! I mainly use it on my lips and on the go in my handbag, but I have used it sometimes on my hands if they become dry. As we have such terrible weather at the moment and it still does the job!

Not to mention the smell OMG it's so heavenly, it smells just like the rose Turkish delight to me! It smells that good I even just like to smell the product, shows how much I love the smell I guess.

Im so in love with this product, so might have to check out other products from Balm.

Anyone else tried this? Is Balm a good brand?

Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser

I haven't done a post about this before, quite surprising seeing as I have used this product for years now. I'm sure many of you have heard so much about the wonders of this product and others from liz Earle!

Well I have to agree with everyone who's said this is amazing because it is, just that! The freshness this product leaves on my face, I feel like I am wide awake as soon as I use this. I just love the feel it gives my skin like its let to breath.

I used to use this to take off my makeup as well as just to cleanse my face. But for a while I have been using the Taaj Micellare makeup remover as shown in my post here...
It does take off quite a lot of your makeup! I would continue using it for that, but I just love the feel from the Taaj Micellare makeup remover too much as it leaves me face feeling just so refreshed and feels like it's as clean as it can be!

Using Liz earles got cloth cleanser along side my clarisonic. Well these two work wonders together from that fresh, clean and smooth base to have for putting your makeup on in the morning! The hot cloth cleanser also helps remarkably with spots and other imperfections on your face. I always use this cleanser twice a day if I'm in a time were I have more spots than usual as this helps them go really quickly for me! I dont know if you would get the same results if you are more prone to spots to be honest, so I guess it may do wonders for most, but some even more.

Whats your favourite cleanser?
 Impressed by Liz Earle products?

Clarisonic Mia Review

For Christmas I recently got the clarisonic Mia. You might have read my post last year about the sigma cleansing and polishing tool (if you have haven't here's a link http://loutotheweeze.blogspot.co.uk/2012/05/review-sigmas-cleansing-and-polishing.html)

Anyway as I was saying I loved this tool, I used it many a times. The only problem was as I live in the UK is wasn't so easy to keep on buying the replacement heads, they would take too long to get here and even one time the airline checked my package to see what was inside so I kept getting charged. So I just thought it was all such a ker-fuffle and got the clarisonic for Christmas.

Wow I tell you now it really does love up to its expectations! Yes the replacement heads are quite pricey from around £20 I think it is, but really I just think when it comes to your face you want it to looks its best right & feel the smoothest!

So I am now in love with the clarisonic! I've noticed it really has diminished my pores as mine were quite large around the nose area, but instantly since using this I have noticed they are minimized dramatically. It even makes your cleanser seep right deep down into your skin making your products work that much more. Well I have noticed an improvement on how soft my face feels and an all round improvement on how it looks making it look really looked after and flawless!

Overall, the clarisonic helps to create the perfect smooth and flawless base for you to begin your skin care and makeup routine. I advise everyone to give it a go!

One more Beauty Advent Calender from You Beauty

I also got this beauty advent Calender late as well. However because I did I manage to get it for a great price as the site was reducing them as Christmas had just past, good little bargain!

This kit is just amazing, you get so many different arranges of products to try out. I'm always wanting to try new products, so having these gives me a chance to try find some holy grail's for my beauty collection. I've been trying out some of these products so I will give some reviews over time of things I'm loving and things I'm not too keen on!

Here are the items..

Beauty Advent Calender from Ciate

I was a bit late on the bandwagon for these new crazes of beauty advent Calenders! So by the time I knew about them in mid December you couldn't get the Ciate advent for love nor money! Even when I found them on online such as eBay, the prices were ridiculous!

So well luckily I did end up buying one, yes it cost more than it would if I bought it from the site. Like I said everywhere was sold out. So hopefully next Christmas I will be able to get my hands on any beauty advent quickly!

       So here is the product...

I've always loved Ciate nail varnishes and these 24 little bottles are so cute! There are so many different colours and you even get some caviar miniature bottles and the filter! How great is that from Ciate?

                                                       What are your thoughts?
Anyone get any other beauty advents from Christmas gone?

Do it at home Gel nails

You may have noticed that I haven't really posted any new pages to my blog since October. The reason being so is that I have been so buy, but to be honest there wasn't any new beauty products out there as such they had me wanting to try. So I am back now with loads and loads more posts ideas of the things I have been testing since the end of last month so here is one I have been wanting to try out for so long.

I think many of us might have seen the new craze to have gel nails out there haven't we ladies? Well I thought instead of going to a nail palour, which i haven't the time for. I found a kit by Rio for me to get the same initial results I would if i were to go to get them done professionally, but this way I can do it myself from the comfort of my own home!

I have been trying this set out for a good few weeks now, I have noticed it does take a lot of your time at the start and a lot of practice, but in the end the results are so amazing! It will keep you coming back to try again. So you just have to be patient with it and keep on trying.

The thing I love most about this set from Rio is the fact that you do not have to use the gel nails kit on acrylic (false) nails, you can actually use them on your own nails! In the kit it comes with a clear UV gel polish which I thought was fantastic as it means that I can use any nail polish/nail art I want to use and can seal it to remain on my nails for two whole weeks! YES TWO WEEKS!! Amazing right?

I think you will just have to try it for yourselves to be honest as you can only see the amazing results if you try, but here are two of my attempts at gel nails...

Anyone else have this set? What are your thoughts on gel nails?
Do you think they are a great handy invention?

My top perfumes

I was sorting through my perfumes the other day and thought to myself I have so many now that I have tried over the years that I thought I would share with you all my top ones.

Marc Jacobs- Daisy

Hilary Duff- With Love

Britney spears- Fantasy (pink bottle)

Benefit- Carmella

I have to admit I have been using these perfumes for years now, that's how much I love them! Of course they have all run out at different times, but I have continued to re-purchase them.

What are your favourite perfumes you go to?

Dove's Regenerating Hair Masque

Lately I have been trying out doves latest range of hair products. Don't get me wrong I love dove's other products, but I was a bit on edge when tying their hair products as they aren't really well known for them. However, to my amazement I was proved wrong!

I tried out the Dove Regenerating hair masque. Wow this product really does wonders for my hair, it looks incredibly healthy after every use. Not forgetting the price, for only £4 you too can have amazingly healthy looking hair. It is a great price, but the one downer about it is the fact it doesn't last too long. However, I guess it depends how long your hair is! As mine is rather long.

I will definitely be re-purchasing more of this masque & others of doves hair products rather than pay a ridiculous amount: like I would normally, for the macadamia hair masque!

So overall I would recommend you trying out dove's range of hair products, don't hold back just try them and see the results for yourself!

John Frieda thickening conditioner

Recently Superdrug stopped selling the Samy Fat Hair conditioner! Every superdrug I tried had none of the conditioner, but plenty of the shampoo! This went on for some time so I knew I just had to find an alternative.

I have to admit I was really annoyed at this as the Samy Fat hair really did wonders for my hair, but there's nothing I could do. So I found a conditioner by John Frieda, its name was Luxury Volume Thickening conditioner. So when I was reading the back of the bottle it seemed to do exactly what my Samy Fat Hair one would normally do for my hair.

So I had to just give it a try. To be honest with you, I would have to say I was really impressed! This product is up to the same level as the Samy Fat hair range. I was so pleased with the results, my hair looked exactly the same as if I had used my normal conditioner. It game me the same amount of volume and healthiness it would look when I'd use the Samy Fat Hair shampoo and conditioner! So If they ever god forbid, stop selling Samy Fat hair shampoo and conditioner I know of a great second option that I could use.

So if your looking for an alternative for the Samy Fat Hair then the John Frieda range is a must go to! If yon't believe me, give it a go yourself

Anyone else tried this product? What are your thoughts? Any recommendations on thickening products?

Review; Sigma Mrs Bunny Brushes collection

I have had these brushes for a whole now nine or ten months now, since they were first released last November or December.

The quality of these brushes are just incredible, the softness of the brushes makes you want to just feel them all day (which would be a little weird) as they just feel so nice! Also the brushes are vegan which is a plus if your into products like that. I find that because these brushes are synthetic of course as they are vegan, this is what gives them the amazing softness to them! Another plus is that I have found that that don't shed.

Unlike other sigma brushes where it had the brand name just wrote on it, these Mrs bunny ones are engraved into the brushes. So with time they won't fade which is brilliant as I had products where they look really ok rather than how they once did when you bought them even if they are kept in good condition.

I also noticed that they put your make-up on soooo smoothly asthough you have been retouched by a computer to make your skin looking perfect! I just love these brushes sooo much I use them all the time as they just really work wonders for your whole make-up look! I mean if your going to buy make-up that's good quality you want good quality brushes as well don't you?

Anyone else tried sigma brushes before? What are your thoughts?
What brushes do you use? How do you store your brushes?

Review: Benefit Highbeam

So everyone uses a highlighter on their face, but what ones do it for you?
I really enjoy my Highbeam highlighter from Benefit, it really gives you a glowing, dewy look. This what we all strive for in a highlighter as I have found some just make me look a bit ridiculous. But I find this one is so perfect in giving me a nice and even sun kissed look like I constantly have the sun shining on my skin.

The one thing I really love about it is the fact It's a little like a nail varnish: with the way its in a little bottle with a paint like brush and applied to the areas needed. For some reason I just find it nice to use as it's so easily applied to your skin. With a little blending you are left with a healthy looking you.

                                                      What highlighters do you use?

Review: Laura Geller Tinted Spackle/Primer

Okay, so now this item is a little more I'd say on the more expensive side compared to some primers. However, as you can see from the image its a full 118ml which is an unbelievable amount that has lasted me since around Christmas last year. You can see just how much I've used since then and It's still lasted agessss! It may be a little pricey, but you do get your money's worth!
The thing I most love about Laura's Primer is that it's tinted. For pale-er complexions such as myself it makes my skin look a lot more healthy and dewy rather than like a ghost with no look of life to it. I have to also comment on the fact that when it goes on your skin it makes it seem ultra smooth and re-freshed. I just look the feel it has on my skin after it's applied!

Down to the Primer side of the product. Want a primer to make your make-up last? Well this does just that. If you have oily-er skin on certain areas (like I find I do on my cheeks and chin) It does keep most of the foundation and setter on, but only in those oily-er areas will it not keep it on obviously as that just cant be helped. So just re-apply a little to your oily areas and your all good.

So really it may be a little pricey, but it's like two products in one as It's a primer, but also gives some life into your skin making you look more healthy which is the look we want right?

Anyone tried Laura Geller's other make-up products?
Anyone have a cheaper alternative for a tinted primer?

Review: Sleek Contour Kit

For a while now I have been using the Sleek Contour Kit in light. I wasn't really one for contouring a few years ago, but now that I am older and more wiser with make-up, I guess (laughs to self) I've started to do contouring.

[Colour in light]

So I tried out the sleek contour kit, I found that the product is build-able as you may know from other posts I love when a product isn't too heavy that you are able to build upon the colour instead of the instant clown look! I found the product, didn't look too cakey on your skin as though you have a load of make-up on, it gave it the right amount to look almost natural like you do have cheekbones that prominent.

I chose my palette to be in light as I have quite fair skin. It gave my skin a naturally healthy glow to it. The colour is such a nice bronzey colour that really compliments fair tones by making you look like you have a bit of natural colour to your face whilst also of course making cheekbones and other places you choose to be more noticeable.

You also get a highlighter in the palette which I found that it gives you such a healthy glow and dewy look to the skin making you seem more awake. Of course it also gives you a more sun kissed look as it highlights where the sun hits your face.

Any recommendations on contour kits you use? Your thoughts?
